2024 is the year of the Dragon so we decided to design our New Year Yokan "Tatsu no Haru (Spring of the Dragon)" not with a flying dragon shape but with something more symbolic.
Traditional Japanese paintings usually depict a dragon holding an orb, believed to be the mythical wish-fulfilling jewel.
We took this concept and designed our yokan with a white orb being held by dragon claws.
We hope that 2024 will be a prosperous year like a dragon soaring through the sky.
